Gaudenzia's Mission: Gaudenzia's Mission is to promote long-term recovery by providing comprehensive treatment and support to people with substance use disorder, co-occurring mental health disorders, and related conditions, regardless of individual circumstances.
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the program's referral and admissions process in addition to all related administration functions. This position serves as the coordinator for new admissions and confirms all aspects of the intake process have been completed, including securing funding. This individual will complete and ensure the quality and timeliness of assessments and the accurate tracking and reporting of referral information.
This role requires considerable contact wills external entities including referral sources, community, and internal program management including ongoing working relationship with marketing department.
Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, achieving program utilization goals and objectives, conducting intake and assessments, including ASAMs, and generating daily reports of admission and discharge statuses via the agency's electronic health record system.
Work is performed with considerable independence in accordance with established regulations, policies, and procedures. Work is reviewed and Supervised by Admissions or Program Director, to whom this individual reports.
