The Intake coordinator will coordinate all aspects of the referral and intake process for the dislocated worker and adult WIOA programs, as well as support the Minnesota Family Resiliency Partnership as needed. This position works a 32hr work week.
INTAKE COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide customer service to all potential program participants.
- Promptly respond to all inquiries regarding programs and services.
- Coordinate and facilitate both online and in person information sessions for potential participants.
- Screen potential participants and referrals for program eligibility
- Schedule and complete program enrollments for all eligible participants (online, in the office, and in the community).
- Collect and maintain required enrollment documentation.
- Assign participants to appropriate program based on eligibility criteria and assign career counselor based on best fit for the participant and case load sizes.
- Refer individuals to other programs or community agencies as appropriate.
- Contact manager for determination on case assignments, as necessary.
- Facilitate co-enrollment with other internal programs.
- Facilitate communication among all team members for coordinated services.

QualificationsEducation and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum 1 year experience performing similar functions.
PREFERRED ABILITIES:
- Ability to learn quickly, interpret, explain, and execute complex program eligibility guidelines and contract goals.
- Possess critical thinking and effective decision-making skills to lead and coach team in program policies as needed.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of people and personalities, including individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent participant-oriented, customer service attitude and skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with participants in remote or community settings.
- Competency in MS Office.
- Ability to work with adults experiencing barriers to employment.
