Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 11am to 7pm EST

As an Intake Consultant Representative, you will be an integral part of a collaborative, team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our patients and clients. What you’ll be doing:

  • Respond to phone calls, email and web requests for client inquiries relating to any of Homewood’s treatment facilities or clinics
  • Provide information about programs and services available at Homewood Health Center and across the Homewood Continuum
  • Conduct screenings over to the phone to ensure that individuals are interested in moving forward in the admission process
  • Ensure patients have a funding source that will enable them to access inpatient services
  • Create and maintain electronic client records and demographic information using PASport, and Salesforce, as appropriate
  • Organize client appointments with HHC Intake Specialists in shared calendar
  • Share leads with Treatment Consultant Team

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Social Work/Humanities/Counselling or related field
  • Two to five years of experience in a social service environment with direct client contact
  • Clinical understanding of Mental Health and Addiction
  • Exceptional customer service delivery and accountability
  • Ability to work independently and contribute actively to team objectives
  • Strong sense of initiative and comfortable with change, embracing new ideas and methods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong detail orientation as well as organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
