Pay Rate: $21.00
Remote role; occasional on- site meetings in Southborough or Worcester office. Must be available for on-site meetings in Massachusetts
Schedule for Insurance Verification Assistant: 40 hours:
of the Insurance Verification Assistant Position
Review, analyze, and verify insurance benefits for home health care, hospice and palliative, documenting for billing, collections, application and re-certification. Obtain some authorizations from providers and communicate decisions in a timely manner. Updates/monitors/maintains all tracking systems necessary for timely submission of documentation and collections of accounts receivable.
Experience: Minimum of one year of clerical and data entry experience required; knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Previous experience with insurance verification, managed care, billing, and/or home care preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
Education:
Associate’s Degree preferred; High School graduate or GED required for Insurance Verification Assistant role.
