  • Maintain active engagement with the AV insurance marketplace, reflecting best practices of industry leaders in emerging-risk environments

3) Regulatory, Compliance & Industry Interface (≈ 15%)

  • Monitor US state‑level requirements and trends impacting AV / commercial passenger transport (e.g., state insurance minima for for‑hire / livery, evolving AV testing / operations frameworks, NAIC / NHTSA guidance) and reflect them in our program design and documentation
  • Serve as MOIA’s external interface with regulators, AV working groups, and insurance industry coalitions
  • Align with legal/policy partners to ensure MOIA’s exposure is optimized in line with corporate risk appetite, mirroring responsibilities found in comparable industry roles

4) Claims, Incident Response & Data (≈ 15%)

  • Develop and manage first‑notice, triage, and data handover processes with TPAs and internal teams
  • Oversee claim reserves, trend analysis, and recoveries / subrogation
