Job Description

Role Purpose

To ensure effective administration of insurance services and contracts administration within the set KPIs, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedure.

Key Accountability Areas

Key Activities

Insurance Services

  • Track and monitor medical services and budget to ensure delivering the services as per the policy.
  • Act as a focal point between employees and medical insurance service provider.
  • Support and respond to all medical inquiries and claim management of clients.
  • Prepare and support in analysing the risks associated with Insurance policies & enhance the insurance policy.
  • Report risk of financial loss while ensuring ultimate services are provided within targeted budgets.
  • Coordinate between service providers and clients.
  • Prepare and coordinate health events and awareness in health lounge, online sessions & global medical days.
  • Promote a high-performance working environment embracing SANS’s values.

Policies, Processes and Procedures

  • Support in monitoring day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum or no prior experience is required

Education and Certifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent is required.
