Insurance and Claim Senior Specialist

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Insurance and Claim Specialist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's success by effectively managing risk/ insurance proseses and ensuring prompt resolution of claims.

Responsibilities:

• Insurance Management: Procure and manage insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage for our company's shipments and operations.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments for each shipment and provide recommendations for appropriate insurance coverage and risk mitigation strategies.
• Claim Processing: Handle the end-to-end claims process, including claim documentation, submission, negotiation with insurance providers, and settlement.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of insurance policies, claims, and related documentation.
• Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, external partners, and insurance providers regarding insurance matters and claims.
• Compliance: Stay updated on relevant regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential areas of risk within our operations and implement proactive measures to minimize risks and losses.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance insurance policies, claim processes, and risk management strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Customer Service: Provide timely and professional assistance to clients regarding insurance-related inquiries and claims issues.
• Dispute Resolution: Address any disputes or discrepancies related to insurance claims in a fair and equitable manner, seeking resolution to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, Logistics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, policies, and claims processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
