Disability Specialists, an Acrisure Agency Partner, is a national leader in developing and enrolling disability and life insurance benefit programs for professional associations.

Our licensed Advisors average 5+ years of tenure and specialize in consultative selling. You’ll work with highly successful financial services professionals across the country, who own and operate their own practices with staff.

Cold calling is not required.
DSI provides Advisors with established client relationships, structured programs, and a proven sales process. Our Disability Advisors are professional, empathetic, honest, and appropriately assertive, providing clear guidance and ongoing service support to every client.

*Position is location-flexible. Other locations may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and maintain a State Life & Health Insurance license
  • Complete the DSI Advisor Training Program
  • Develop a strong technical understanding of DSI’s Disability Income and Life Insurance products
  • Clearly communicate program options to clients via phone and email
  • Maintain accurate, detailed records in our CRM system
  • Follow DSI’s established sales and service process

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM or agency management software preferred
  • Highly organized with strong focus on results
  • Ability to listen carefully, identify needs and empathize with clients
  • Self-motivated
  • Professional and confident communication (written and verbal)

Education and Experience

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, and/or insurance industry preferred

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
