Salary Range: $17.00 - $21.00 Hourly
Travel Percentage: Up to 25%
Position Summary
As an Insulation Install Apprentice, you'll assist technicians and installers with insulation
materials like fiberglass, spray foam, and cellulose, learning proper techniques for measuring,
cutting, and fitting as you go. It's steady, year-round work with real room to grow into a longterm trade career.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with the installation of insulation materials in walls, attics, crawlspaces, and
basements
• Prepare tools, materials, and work areas to support efficient installation
• Load, unload, and stage insulation products and supplies at job sites
• Operate basic tools and equipment under the supervision of senior technicians
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas during and after each job
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and industry standards
• Document tasks completed and assist with job notes and reporting as directed
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with customers and team members

Requirements
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
• Prior experience in construction, trades, or insulation preferred but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the insulation trade
QualificationsLicenses/Certifications
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision
• Good teamwork and communication skills
Physical Demands and Conditions
• Lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and extended periods of standing or
crawling
• Work performed indoors, in attics, crawlspaces, and other confined or elevated areas
• Exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and insulation materials
Work Environment/Travel
• Field-based role with daily travel to residential and commercial job sites
• May require overtime, evenings, or weekends depending on project schedules
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
