Instrumentation Technician

• Mozambique
• R80,000 R90,000/month
• 12-month contract (renewable)
• 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation

We're hiring 2 Instrument Technicians to support a high-performance diamond processing plant in Mozambique. Youll install, maintain, and repair critical control system components to ensure maximum uptime and safe, efficient recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, and fault-find plant instrumentation & control systems
• Install control systems, valves, PLCs, and instrumentation hardware
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs and VSD drives
• Support planned maintenance, repairs, and overhauls
• Develop and manage critical spares registers
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards
• Provide technical support across functional teams

Requirements:

• N2 + Trade Certificate (minimum) + Code 8 license
• 5+ years plant maintenance experience (preferably diamond/DMS circuits)
• Solid knowledge of PLCs, drives, weighing systems, level detectors, controllers
• Ability to work under pressure in high-performance mining environments
• (Bonus: N6/T3/S4, Code 10, 8+ years experience)
