Geocomp is seeking an Instrumentation & Monitoring Technician to join our team in New York City, NY
Geocomp's Instrumentation & Monitoring Services provide the implementation and operation of complex monitoring systems that help protect critical infrastructure during construction and operation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing geotechnical and structural monitoring systems for heavy civil infrastructure projects while supporting our Geo-Structural Engineering consulting practice. This role offers a combination of field and office work, depending on project needs.

The candidate must be able to climb ladders and lift or carry up to 50 lbs This position may require working in confined spaces and at heights exceeding 10 feet Some work will be performed in the field, where exposure to chemicals, noise, dust, varying temperatures and humidity, fumes, and construction equipment may occur.
