What you’ll do

The role responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute instrumentation and control engineering designs for offshore and onshore, greenfield and brownfield modification projects.
  • Design and modify Instrumentation & Control Systems, including PCS, SIS, FGS, PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
  • Prepare and review engineering deliverables such as datasheets, specifications, instrument indexes, I/O lists, cable schedules, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, hook-ups, and layout drawings.
  • Perform instrument sizing and selection, including field instruments, control valves, and safety valves.
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous area requirements and applicable engineering standards.
  • Support site surveys, field verification, and development of as-built documentation.
  • Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs), technical scopes of work, and engineering cost estimates.
  • Support procurement activities through Technical Clarifications (TC), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and vendor document reviews.
  • Provide technical support during FAT, SAT, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution

What you’ll have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in offshore and onshore, greenfield and brownfield modification projects in Thailand.
  • Experience in wellhead platform projects will be an advantage (e.g., infill, well conversion, pipeline conversion, wellhead control panel upgrades).
  • Strong knowledge of process safety studies including HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, What-if, and Alarm Management Study.
  • Experience reviewing and commenting on P&IDs, Cause & Effect diagrams, and Instrumentation/Control documents.
  • Experience conducting Technical Clarifications (TC) and Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
  • Experience supporting FAT, SAT, construction, commissioning, and as-built documentation.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and presentation skills in English.
