Marathon Petroleum Company, LP’s Catlettsburg, Kentucky Refinery has immediate openings for Instrument Technicians

Starting pay rate for this role is $54.78/hr with contractual rate increases and competitive benefits package including retirement and medical. More information can be found at www.mympcbenefits.com

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine tests and measurements to maintain, calibrate, repair, replace, and install instrumentation equipment.

• Calibrate meters and controls.

• Maintain and repair instrumentation and instrument related equipment within the refinery

• Performs maintenance per established written procedures. Uses drawings, equipment manuals, procedures, and proper tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

• Documents work performed throughout the workday.

• May include work on control valves and level/pressure/temperature transmitters.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Five years of instrumentation work is preferred.

• Five years of experience in refining, chemical, power industry, or related military experience is preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)

• Successful completion of a skills assessment.
