
The Nebraska Wesleyan University (NWU) Nursing Program has an opening for a full-time fixed-term Instructor/Assistant Professor faculty position with a start date of August 24, 2026. This person will primarily teach in the Pre-licensure BSN program. In collaboration with the Nursing Department Chair and Program Directors, this position will work with other nursing faculty to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing curriculum, meet accreditation standards, and manage clinical faculty as required. Final rank upon hire will be determined by the Provost commensurate with experience and education.
In this 9-month per year teaching position, the successful applicant will have opportunities to create, manage and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives. NWU's expectations for all faculty are to participate collaboratively and professionally with other faculty and staff to promote the general well-being of the department and the university and collective and individual interest of its staff and student body.
