The College of Technological Innovation at Zayed University seeks qualified candidates for multiple full-time, multi-year faculty positions beginning in Spring or Fall of 2027. These positions are for the ranks of Instructor or Senior Instructor in the following areas: Intelligent Systems, Intelligent Data-driven Systems, Autonomous Systems, Drones and Robotics Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber-Physical Systems, Networks of Things, and other related fields.

The program seeks a dynamic and versatile Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction across a range of critical undergraduate engineering courses. This is a teaching-focused position that plays a key role in shaping our students' foundational skills and professional understanding. However, the candidate should be technically current and familiar with laboratory equipment and management. The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating the next generation of engineers in both technical and professional disciplines and able to teach Engineering Drawing & Solid Modeling, Measurements and Instrumentation, Simulation and Modeling, Engineering Mechanics, Digital Design, Digital Systems Design, Algorithms and Programming for Engineers, Digital Electronics and Logic Design, Numerical Methods, Microcontrollers, Mechatronic Systems, Dynamic Control Systems, Autonomous Systems, Digital Systems Communication, Drones and Robotics.

The College of Technological Innovation (CTI) seeks to produce graduates recognized by business, government, and educational institutions in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Gulf Region, and around the world. It also seeks to develop a strong applied research capacity in emerging technologies to meet the ICT needs of the UAE and the Gulf region. The CTI academic programs are practical, competency-based, and designed to prepare students for successful careers in engineering and technology fields.

At the undergraduate level, CTI offers three bachelor’s degrees: Information Systems, Technology Management, Information Technology, and Intelligent Systems Engineering. At the graduate level, CTI offers two Master’s degrees: Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Master of Science in Digital Transformation and Innovation. Currently, CTI has 79+ full-time faculty members and 2,700+ students pursuing majors in the College across its Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses.

Qualifications

• MSc in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a closely related discipline specializing in one of the abovementioned areas. The MSc must be from an internationally accredited university and be recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education.
• A demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, student mentorship, and service.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Recent MSc graduates may be considered if they demonstrate a potential for excellence in teaching.
