
Creighton University’s College of Nursing is seeking appointments for a 12 month, full-time, non-tenure track faculty position with critical care and or medical-surgical expertise to fill afaculty position on its Omaha campus. This is an on-site position. The candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in an acute care adult medical surgical or critical care setting with the flexibility to supervise students in community-based settings. Responsibilities include the teaching/supervision of undergraduate students in the critical care or medical-surgical setting, curriculum development, and academic advising. Other faculty responsibilities include those associated with service and scholarship commensurate with the College of Nursing and university expectations for rank.
Candidates must possess a master's degree in nursing (doctoral degree preferred) and 2 years of clinical nursing experience in medical surgical and/or critical care. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in classroom and simulation instruction, the use of technology in classroom and lab instruction, and clinical supervision. The candidate must have a current unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure.
