The Department of Theatre is seeking faculty for a 9-month non-tenure-track Instructor (Non-Renewable) position in Acting/General Theatre. This position will begin Fall 2026 Faculty at East Texas A & M University are required to work cooperatively with others and contribute service to their discipline, the university, and the community.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Education: Master of Fine Arts or Doctorate degree. A minimum of 18 graduate-level hours in Theatre from an accredited university is required.
· Ability to: Multi-task and work well as part of a team.
· Licensing/Professional Certifications: none.
· Physical Requirements: none.
· Other Requirements: none.
PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:
Masters of Fine Arts or Doctorate Degree. Candidates that are ABD will be considered, but the degree must be conferred on or before January 1st for Spring appointments and on or before August 1st for Fall appointments. University-level teaching experience. Professional acting experience. Online teaching experience.
