This posting is for a full-time, 9-month, unclassified, in-person faculty position located on-site at our Bossier campus.
Anticipated start date is August 10, 2026.

Examples of duties

Education Requirement:

Master's degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or Corrections or Master's degree in a related field with at least eighteen (18) graduate hours in one of those fields.

Experience:

  • Experience teaching face-to-face and online courses in a post-secondary environment.
  • Experience teaching synchronous online or hyflex courses preferred.

Supplemental information

Instructor duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Teach five courses per semester.
  • Maintain in-office student hours.
  • Perform campus and community service.
  • Attend professional development activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curricular design.
  • Contribute to a vibrant campus culture where faculty work closely with students.
