Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Instructor, Clinical Haematology in the Department of Oncology.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
providing inpatient and outpatient clinical haematology services under the supervision of senior faculty members
conducting daily ward rounds, formulating patient care plans, and facilitating timely discharges in consultation with senior faculty
maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, including patient records and discharge summaries
coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, pharmacy, and allied health professionals, to ensure optimal patient care
delivering accessible, compassionate, ethical, evidence-based, and patient-centered care
teaching and training undergraduate and postgraduate trainees in accordance with departmental and institutional standards
participating in departmental and hospital quality improvement initiatives and electronic health record (EHR) activities
contributing to quality initiatives and presenting findings under the guidance of senior faculty members
conducting and participating in academic activities, including case presentations, journal clubs, and educational meetings
participating in clinical research projects, including institutional research and grant-funded initiatives
contributing to patient complaint reviews, case reviews, and root cause analyses
participating in audits, performance reviews, and quality assurance activities.
