The Automotive Service Instructor plays a key role in preparing students for successful careers in the automotive and collision repair industries through hands-on, industry-focused instruction. This position delivers engaging classroom and shop-based learning experiences in automotive diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and emerging vehicle technologies while fostering a safety-first, student-centered environment. Faculty members mentor and advise students, collaborate on curriculum development, and help ensure programs remain aligned with current industry standards and workforce demands. Instructors are expected to bring real-world automotive expertise into the lab, support student achievement, and contribute to the continued growth and excellence of CWI’s Automotive Service and Collision Repair programs.

Additional Instructions for Applicants:
*This is for our evening shift Monday through Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. which includes a 5% shift differential.
**All candidates must reside within Idaho within a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Associates degree in Automotive Technology is preferred but not required
• Five years of full-time recent work experience in a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to obtain an ASE Master Certification in Automotive within the first year of employment.
• ASE Master certification in Automotive preferred but not required
