The Department of World Languages, Literatures & Cultures at Louisiana State University is searching for an instructor of Classics to teach beginning and intermediate Latin and Greek classes and Classical Studies courses in translation beginning in August 2026. A Master's degree in Classics or related field is required, but a PhD is preferred. The teaching load is 12 credit hours a semester, which equates to three or four courses a term. The position is for one year, but there is a possibility of renewal. Consideration of applications will begin May 18, 2026.
