Job Category: EducationPOSITION SUMMARY
The Instructional Technology Coach (IT Coach) supports teachers in the effective use of instructional technology in both on-campus and online classrooms. Working in collaboration with academic leadership, the IT Coach assists with the integration of instructional technology and emerging tools, including artificial intelligence, to enhance student learning and engagement in alignment with the school’s mission and instructional goals. The IT Coach provides guidance, resources, and day-to-day support to faculty and staff in the use of the school’s learning management system (LMS) and other instructional technologies. This role supports teachers in developing and updating online course materials and in integrating technology into the existing curriculum. The IT Coach also assists with troubleshooting, responds to faculty questions, and provides training to promote confident and effective use of instructional tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Online Learning & Curriculum Support
- Collaborate with the Dean of Online Learning to support the design and development of online courses.
- Assist leadership and faculty in enhancing the overall quality, rigor, and engagement of online curriculum.
- Work with Department Chairs to support alignment and consistency across courses in content, outcomes, and assessment.
- Support the ongoing review and updating of online courses to keep content current and effective.
- Assist leadership and faculty in the implementation of asynchronous and blended learning models that reflect best practices.
- Collaborate with the Dean of Online Learning and teachers to design engaging, student-centered learning experiences in an asynchronous, online modality.
Instructional Technology Support
- Work with academic leadership to support the integration of instructional technology across the school.
- Research and share instructional technology tools and resources that may support teaching and learning.
- Provide support for the effective use of the Learning Management System (LMS) and other instructional technologies.
- Provide guidance and support to faculty in integrating technology into their courses, including the thoughtful and appropriate use of artificial intelligence.
- Assist in the delivery of professional development sessions, workshops, and individual support on the use of instructional technology.
- Support academic leadership in the development and implementation of school guidelines for AI use in alignment with school values.
- Assist in the gathering of feedback from faculty and students on instructional technology use.
- Participate in ongoing conversations regarding the effective use of instructional technology.

Education
Bachelor's Degree required, Master’s Degree in Education or Educational Technology a plus
Experience
- Teaching experience, preferably at the high school level.
- Experience in instructional design, online learning, and/or instructional technology tools
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in education.
- Ability to work collaboratively and support a wide range of faculty needs.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, AND CLEARANCES
- Cleared Background/Fingerprint check
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
- Cleared TB assessment
- Completion of Ministry Safe Training
