WORK HOURS:
3.25 hours per day (12:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.), Tuesdays and Thursdays for the 2026-2027 school year.
This position may be combined with another position in the district, but the combined positions may not exceed more than 40-hours per week.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Assist student(s) with classroom needs (e.g., academic skills, behavior management, social skills, etc.)
2. Supervise students in Early Childhood
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, or equivalent, and additional post secondary training relevant to education preferred
- Ability to:
- Implement instructions in a developmentally appropriate manner
- Communicate with staff, students, and parents
- Understand and implement behavior management techniques
- Interact and direct students in a positive manner
- Work independently and as a team
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Accept direction from supervising teacher(s) and will to work as a team
SALARY and BENEFITS:
Salary based on the 2025-2027 School Support Employees Agreement Level V from $20.58 up to $22.91 per hour.
