INSTRUCTIONAL PARAPROFESSIONAL (Hall Monitor)

Location: West High School

Starts: October 2026

9 months; 1.0 FTE; 8 hours a day; Monday � Friday

Salary: $18.34/hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performs instructional activities as planned, assigned and organized by professional staff for individual and/or small groups of students
2. Works with the teacher with students who need to learn positive behaviors in order to be successful in the classroom setting
3. Helps in the selection, preparation and organization of materials appropriate to students' needs in accordance with designated lessons
4. Collects data and reports student progress to the teacher
5. Must have previous experience working with children

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Requires a High School graduate or equivalent
2. Requires 60 semester or 90 quarter college credits; or successful completion of the WorkKeys test to meet requirement of ESSA
