The Donald G. Costello College of Business at George Mason University is one of the largest business schools in Virginia, and is located near Washington, D.C., in Arlington and Fairfax, and at George Mason’s global campus in Incheon, South Korea. Management is one of the six areas of the Costello College of Business. With 11 tenure-line faculty and 5 term faculty, the Management area has faculty with expertise in many different business topics, with a focus on Organizational Behavior, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. Organizational behavioral researchers study topics such as individual cognition, creativity, decision-making and identity, team dynamics, conflict and negotiations, leadership, change management, and global/cultural issues. Strategy and entrepreneurship researchers explore topics of strategic management and analysis, international strategy, competitive strategy, and global business issues. Faculty publish in top management journals including Administrative Science Quarterly and Strategic Management Journal. The management area offers courses in relevant areas (e.g., the College’s capstone strategy course), minors in several areas including entrepreneurship and international business, and will be starting a PhD program in Strategic Management.
About the Position:
The Instructional Open Rank position teaches Management courses (with a focus in strategy and entrepreneurship) in undergraduate and graduate programs. The Instructional Open Rank position provides service to the Management Area, the Costello College of Business, the University, the profession, and interfaces with the business community.
This is a full-time position with benefits. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position does not support work visa sponsorship.
