Instructional Designer (Hybrid –Bangalore, India)

The Instructional Designeris responsible fordesigning and developing high-quality learning solutions that support enterprise-wide training and talent management initiatives. This role creates engaging workshops, eLearning modules, infographics, and performance support resources using established instructional design methodologies. The ideal candidate brings strong visual design skills, experience with adult learning principles, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced retail/manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on creator role and will function as the team’s primary instructional designer, working closely with experienced instructional program managers, HR/TM partners, business leaders, and subject matter experts.
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Design & Content Development
- Design and develop learning experiences including instructor-led workshops, eLearning courses, microlearning, infographics, and job aids.
- Apply ADDIE or SAM methodologies, adult learning principles, and performance-based design techniques.
- Translate complex or technical information into accessible, learner-focused content.
- Develop assessments, practice activities, and reinforcement tools to drive learning outcomes.
Visual & Multimedia Design
- Create clean, professional visual designs for learning deliverables, including presentations, templates, and infographics.
- Use intermediate graphic design capabilities to enhance learning materials andmaintainbrand consistency.
- Produce entry-level motion graphics or simple animated learning content (primarily using Vyond).
Tools & Technology
- Develop eLearning materials using Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, Review).
- Create videos, animated modules, and short-form learning content using Vyond(or other video creation tools)
- Build visually compelling decks and learning assets using PowerPoint.
- Upload, manage, and track learning assets in Workday Learning LMS.
Collaboration & Project Management
- Partner with SMEs, HR/Talent Management teams, and business leaders to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet stakeholder needs.
- Consult with program managers toalign onproject plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuringtimelydelivery and consistent quality.
- Incorporate feedback efficiently andmaintainstrong communicationthroughout the design cycle.
Required Qualifications
-5–8years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design.
-Demonstratedexperience developing workshops, eLearning, infographics, and performance support tools.
-Proficiencywith Articulate 360, Vyond, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong graphic design foundation, with the ability to create professional visual layouts.
- Working knowledge of adult learning theory, ADDIE, and/or SAM.
- Experience working with Workday Learning (or similar LMS).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives at once.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for global or large-scale distributed workforces.
- Familiarity with retail, manufacturing, or product-driven environments.
- Ability to coach SMEs on instructional design best practices.
- Basic video editing or motion graphics experience beyond Vyond.
