The Global Customer Office (GCO) Enablement & Onboarding team is responsible for designing and delivering scalable enablement solutions that accelerate employee readiness, support business transformation, and improve performance across customer-facing teams globally.
As a Senior Instructional Designer, Enablement, you will play a critical role in translating business needs into engaging, practical, and scalable learning experiences that help Daymakers perform effectively in real work environments. We are looking for someone who is comfortable partnering directly with stakeholders and subject matter experts to uncover learner needs, challenge assumptions, ask thoughtful questions, and shape the right enablement solution for the business problem.
This role operates in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities, new technologies, and ongoing transformation initiatives across GCO. Success in this role requires a strong instructional design foundation, comfort working independently, and the ability to move quickly while balancing quality, scalability, and business impact.
What You’ll Get to Do
• Partner directly with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify learner needs, business goals, skill gaps, and desired performance outcomes
• Independently drive discovery conversations, gather the information needed to build effective learning solutions, and challenge assumptions to recommend the right enablement approach
• Translate complex processes, tools, and business concepts into engaging, learner-centered experiences that support behavior change, application in the flow of work, and measurable readiness outcomes
• Design and develop scalable learning experiences across multiple modalities, including eLearning, facilitator-led sessions, job aids, assessments, workflow-based learning, and blended enablement solutions
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Learning Operations, and Technology Enablement to align learning solutions with business goals, delivery needs, AI-enabled tools, automation opportunities, and learner experience standards
• Facilitate onboarding or enablement sessions when live delivery supports learner engagement or business outcomes
• Gather learner feedback, engagement insights, and performance data to continuously improve learning effectiveness and scalability
• Independently manage multiple projects and shifting priorities with strong ownership, proactive communication, sound judgement and consistent follow-through with appropriate urgency for a fast-paced environment
• Stay current on instructional design trends, learning technologies, AI-enabled workflows, and best practices to continuously evolve enablement approaches
• Complete administrative responsibilities, project updates, and required communications accurately and on time
• Perform other duties as assigned to support Dayforce goals and objectives
Skills and Experience We Value
• 3+ years of experience in instructional design, enablement, learning development, or a similar role in a corporate or professional services environment
• Strong instructional design capability with experience translating complex business concepts into clear, practical, and engaging learning experiences across multiple modalities, including eLearning, virtual instructor-led training, workflow-based support, job aids, and blended learning solutions
• Experience designing and developing digital learning solutions using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Teams, Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline), Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, or similar tools
• Strong consultative, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, manage expectations, and work effectively across teams and levels of the organization
• Proven project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities, proactively communicate with stakeholders, and independently drive work forward to meet deadlines
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and the ability to challenge assumptions, identify risks, and recommend practical, scalable solutions
• Comfort navigating ambiguity, making decisions with incomplete information, adapting to evolving priorities, and escalating risks appropriately
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, methodologies, and business processes quickly
What Would Make You Really Stand Out
• Experience supporting onboarding or ongoing enablement programs for customer-facing teams in a global organization
• Experience in SaaS, consulting, HCM, or other technology-driven environments
• Experience designing learning tied to measurable business outcomes such as productivity, quality, readiness, or adoption metrics
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate learning design, streamline development workflows, or enhance learner experiences.
