
SEL in-house Learning and Development Department seeks an experienced full-time Instructional Designer to help design, develop, and deliver innovative learning solutions that empower our employees to thrive in their current and future roles.
As a member of the team, you’llcollaborate closely with subject matter experts, instructors, and other team members to create engaging training materials that align with our company's goals and objectives These materials could include printable items, digital training modules, microlearning materials, animations, videos, infographics, materials to support live instruction through in-person or virtual training, and other activities
As an Instructional Designer, a typical day might include the following:
Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and objectives
Outline, storyboard, and deliver engaging instructional materials, including e-learning modules, training videos, interactive modules, and more.
Utilize feedback from our stakeholders, learners, and leaders to improve learning content.
Apply instructional design methodologies to create learner-centric content that maximizes engagement and knowledge retention.
Incorporate multimedia elements, graphics, and interactive components to enhance learning experiences.
Adapt and repurpose existing content to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in instructional design and incorporate them into our training programs.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training materials and make necessary improvements.
Provide guidance and support to subject matter experts and instructors during the implementation of learning programs.

The pay range for an Instructional Designer is $76,000 - $112,000. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
