Compensation: $58,926.40/yr

Job Summary:

Are you passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that make a real impact? We’re looking for an innovative and collaborative Instructional Designer to help shape the future of education at WSU Tech.

In this role, you’ll partner with faculty and academic teams to design dynamic, accessible, and student-centered curriculum across multiple delivery formats. From developing interactive learning content to supporting faculty development and instructional innovation, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the student learning experience.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and develop engaging curriculum and instructional materials
  • Ensure course content aligns with program outcomes and accessibility standards
  • Create learning media including infographics, visual aids, and active learning activities
  • Collaborate with faculty and instructional technology teams to improve course delivery
  • Support faculty through training, workshops, onboarding, and one-on-one guidance
  • Assist in integrating effective assessments and instructional technologies
  • Help foster innovative teaching practices across the college
  • Participate in continuous improvement and professional development initiatives

Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, adult education, training, or a related field
  • Teaching or training experience
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience in aviation, manufacturing, or technical education environments
  • Accessibility and online learning experience
  • Quality Matters certification or ability to obtain within two years
