The Technical Instructor/Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality technical training programs for internal sales, technical sales, customers, other functions The role combines strong technical expertise with instructional design and training delivery capabilities, supporting both classroom-based and digital learning environments.
Job Responsibilities:
Training Development
- Define the contents of technical courses working with the global training team
- Design and develop technical training content including presentations, instructor led materials, hands-on labs, assessments, and learner guides
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured, and learner friendly content
- Collaborate with Product Management, Service, Technical Sales and Sales teams to ensure content accuracy and alignment with current offerings
- Update and maintain training materials based on product releases, field feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives
Training Delivery
- Deliver instructor led technical training (in person and virtual) to diverse audiences such as Sales, Technical Sales, Customer, other corporate teams
- Facilitate hands-on product demonstrations and guided practical sessions
- Adapt delivery style and depth based on audience profile and technical background
- Assess learner understanding and provide coaching and technical clarification as needed
Learning Effectiveness & Support
- Act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) during training sessions and learning initiatives
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the technical curriculum and learning experience
Collaboration & Governance
- Work closely with Global/Regional Learning teams to ensure consistency and scalability of training programs
- Support training planning, scheduling, and coordination activities
- Ensure training materials comply with internal quality standards and learning governance processes
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
- Technical experience highly appreciated
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience in instructional design and training delivery.
