Job Location: Avery Elementary - Webster Groves, MO 63119
Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $17.28 Hourly

Primary Objective: Under the direction of the building principal, assist certified staff in supporting students; monitor and report student progress.
Essential Functions:
- Assist teachers with instruction of individual and small groups of students in the classroom
- Assist counselors in their support of students
- Assist with building supervision including but not limited to hallway, lunch, and recess
- Supports the Adventure Club program at Avery Elementary
- Other duties as assigned
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of (60) sixty college hours

Experience: 1-3 years of job-related experience is required.
Certification: Missouri teacher certification and/or substitute teacher certification preferred
Hours of Employment: 7 hours per day Instructional Aide and 1 hour of Adventure Club (totaling 8 hours)
