JOB OPPORTUNITY

JOB TITLE: Instructional Aide, Special Education SDC M/M

SITE LOCATION OF POSITION: Standard Middle School

TERM/HOURS OF POSITION: 5.75 hours daily; 183 work days / 206 paid days.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Under supervision of certificated staff, assist individuals and small groups of students with instructional tasks, assist with classroom management, record keeping, and other work as assigned. Specialized attention to any children with identified health concerns.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Two years of study at an institution of higher education, or an Associate's or higher degree, or pass a formal state or local academic assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics (or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness).
• CPR training

SALARY Range 11, $18.66 - $23.31 per hour based on 10 steps (additional $0.32 per hour in lieu of benefits)
