JOB OPPORTUNITY

JOB TITLE Instructional Aide, SDC Mild/Moderate

SITE AND LOCATION OF POSITION Highland Elementary School

TERM AND HOURS OF POSITION 5.75 Hours Per Day

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Assists individuals and small groups of students with instructional tasks, assists with classroom management, record keeping, and other work as assigned. Specialized attention, support, and assistance to any children with identified health concerns.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two years of study at an institution of higher education, or an Associate's or higher degree, or pass a formal state or local academic assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics (or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness).
• CPR training.

SALARY Range 11, Step 1: $18.66 per hour (additional $0.32 per hour in lieu of benefits).
