Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education from an accredited college or university and must be endorsed or certified in reading or working toward endorsement or certification.
A minimum of three years successful teaching experience in reading instruction
Demonstrated competency in knowledge of the Sunshine State Standards, scientifically based reading research, exemplary practices in reading instruction and data analysis
Ability to plan, organize, and direct activities for teachers
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers, administration, district staff, and the public
Experienced in facilitating adult training
