Job Description

Floor Manager – Training Focus (In‑Store)

Location: Store based
Department: Retail
Reports to: Store Management

Role Purpose

As a Floor Manager – Training Focus at Levi Strauss & Co., you play a key leadership role within the store, combining strong operational ownership with a clear responsibility for training, coaching and developing store employees

While this role sits within the Floor Manager / Store Supervisor structure, its primary focus is to ensure that teams are fully equipped through structured training, onboarding and continuous development to deliver an outstanding consumer journey and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Store Leadership & Operations

  • Support and deputise for the Store Management Team when required
  • Deliver store KPIs and identify profit and performance opportunities
  • Set and implement individual, daily and weekly sales targets for the store team
  • Monitor store performance through KPI reporting and share insights with management
  • Support store operations including stock management, scheduling, payroll and administrative tasks
  • Actively support the sales floor to ensure a customer‑first mindset at all times

Training, Development & Coaching (Core Focus)

Consumer Service & Performance

  • Improve the consumer journey experience and drive Direct‑to‑Consumer performance in the store
  • Conduct regular floor coaching sessions with managers and stylists
  • Support teams in adopting the right behaviours to increase conversion and sales (B&M and Omni)

Training & Team Development

  • Work closely with the Training & Communication function to ensure consistent implementation of LS&Co training standards and tools (e.g. LMS, communication platforms)
  • Identify opportunities to improve service quality and brand storytelling moments in the store
  • Adapt and deliver training materials and concepts based on store needs and company strategy
  • Ensure strong product knowledge and brand understanding across the team

Induction & Onboarding

  • Coordinate and support effective onboarding programmes for new store employees
  • Partner with HR, Retail Leadership and Store Management to ensure structured induction paths
  • Support career path development and internal progression through targeted training initiatives

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify the most impactful training topics
  • Actively contribute to the preparation and execution of training and development initiatives
  • Support periodic reviews with Store and District Management to assess training effectiveness

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Store Management or Supervisor role
  • Proven ability to inspire, engage and develop retail teams
  • Strong customer‑centric mindset with passion for Retail and the Fashion industry
  • Experience working with KPIs, sales targets and performance management
  • Strong interest in training, coaching and people development
  • Proactive, autonomous and well‑organised working style
  • High attention to detail and strong results orientation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English (German is a strong advantage; additional languages are a plus)
