STATUS: FULL-TIME, EXEMPT, SALARIED

Lake Erie College, a small, co-educational, four-year, independent liberal arts college located in Painesville, OH, 30 miles east of Cleveland, invites applications for the full-time position of Institutional Systems and Integrations Administrator. The Institutional Systems and Integrations Administrator is responsible for the administration, development, integration, and operational stability of core campus enterprise systems. This role focuses on administering Jenzabar One Desktop and developing, configuring, and expanding Jenzabar One Web, while ensuring effective integration with institutional systems including ARMS, Slate, JICS, and JFA. The position supports system reliability, data integrity, security, and continuity across administrative and academic systems and enables effective system use by staff and faculty across the institution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Jenzabar One Desktop in both production and test environments.

  • Develop, configure, and build out Jenzabar One Web functionality to meet institutional and departmental needs.

  • Design, implement, and support integrations between Jenzabar One, ARMS, Slate, JICS, JFA, and other campus enterprise applications.

  • Monitor system performance, scheduled jobs, data flows, and integration points; identify and resolve system and data issues.

  • Maintain data integrity across interconnected systems through validation, auditing, and controlled change management.

  • Configure workflows, automations, security roles, and permissions in alignment with institutional policies.

  • Support identity and access management in coordination with IT security standards.

  • Provide direct systems support to staff and faculty using enterprise administrative and academic systems.

  • Assist staff and faculty in effective, secure use of systems related to enrollment, advising, academics, financial aid, and reporting.

  • Serve as a technical resource for functional users, addressing system-related questions and resolving operational issues.

  • Coordinate secure data exchanges with third-party vendors and internal systems.

  • Collaborate with departments to translate staff and faculty requirements into scalable system configurations and web solutions.

  • Support upgrades, patches, and enhancements in coordination with vendors and internal IT teams.

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, integration mappings, and administrative procedures.

  • Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning for enterprise systems.

  • Provide targeted technical training and guidance to staff and faculty to promote consistent and effective system usage.

  • Perform additional system administration duties as assigned by the Director of Information Technology.



Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Three to five years of experience in enterprise systems or systems administration.

  • Hands-on experience administering Jenzabar One Desktop and developing Jenzabar One Web.

  • Familiarity with ARMS, Slate, JICS, and JFA strongly preferred.

  • Experience supporting staff and faculty use of enterprise administrative systems.

  • Experience supporting enterprise system integrations and data exchanges.

  • Working knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, and system logic.

  • Experience administering systems in both test and production environments.

  • Understanding of role-based security, access control, and data governance.

  • Experience documenting system configurations and operational processes.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work effectively across academic and administrative departments.

  • Growth and “doer” mindset and institutional teamwork ethic.

  • Creative, strategic, thoughtful, and has a sense of humor.
