What you do
Support institutional client order execution across Asia and global equity markets while ensuring adherence to best execution principles, internal dealing policies, and regulatory requirements.
Assist senior execution traders in handling client flow, liquidity monitoring, execution management, and dissemination of market colour.
Execute and support trades including block trades, program trades, basket executions, and event-driven flows such as index rebalancing and high-volume market events.
Coordinate closely with sales, sales trading, operations, settlement, compliance, and technology teams to ensure smooth trade lifecycle management.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with institutional clients through responsive execution support and high service standards.
Involve in institutional DMA and electronic execution workflows across supported markets.
Coordinate onboarding of institutional clients, including workflow setup, documentation, internal approvals, connectivity readiness, testing, and production go-live support.
Manage onboarding for DMA, algorithmic trading access, FIX connectivity, and execution platform enablement.
Act as the primary front-office point of contact for institutional clients on electronic trading matters, driving timely issue resolution with internal teams and external vendors .
Manage client communications related to electronic trading workflows, connectivity, platform incidents, exchange notifications, and production readiness .
Monitor electronic order routing, exchange connectivity, and order exceptions, escalating issues where appropriate .
Work with various stakeholders on rollout of electronic trading enhancements, platform upgrades, new execution tools, and workflow optimisation initiatives.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience in equities trading, institutional brokerage, sales trading, electronic execution, or capital markets.
Strong understanding of global equities markets, market microstructure, exchange trading rules, and trading workflows.
Sound knowledge of institutional execution services including DMA, algorithmic trading, care orders, and high-touch/low-touch execution.
Familiarity with trading systems, Order Management Systems (OMS), Execution Management Systems (EMS), and market data platforms.
Understanding of trade lifecycle processes, including order routing, trade execution, allocation, affirmation, settlement, and post-trade operations.
Knowledge of electronic trading connectivity, FIX protocol, and exchange/broker connectivity is highly advantageous.
Ability to analyze market activity, trading flows, liquidity conditions, and execution performance to support client trading needs.
Strong awareness of regulatory requirements, best execution standards, and market compliance obligations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trading, operational, and connectivity issues and drive solutions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with institutional clients, brokers, exchanges, and internal support teams.
