The Institutional Custody team provides custody services to large global and domestic institutional clients. UMB entered the Institutional Custody space after noticing a need for our services from existing and potential clients. This allows us to provide full-service offerings to our customers who are often clients of Trust, Fund Services, and other groups as well. Our team is growing and looking for our next teammate!

As a Team Lead, you will provide supervision for daily Client Services activities. This role interacts with associates through formal and informal means to help develop a productive, engaged work force. You will assist with developing, implementing, and monitoring controls which reduce risk to the organization.

Working in the Institutional Custody Administration team can be fun, challenging, fast paced, and collaborative. As a group we are independently serving clients, but we rely heavily on teamwork and shared knowledge to be successful as unit. There are often deadlines we rally around as a team. How you’ll spend your time:

• You will lead and assist Client Service Administrators who oversee all activity pertinent to client accounts in order to provide The Unparalleled Customer Experience to our clients, working with internal operations and external vendors to meet client expectations.
• You will monitor management controls reducing risk to the organization and approve transaction activity, cash, and trade movement.

• You will facilitate problem resolution, tracking issues through to completion
• Provide input for the design and construction of test cases and scenarios and may also validate executed test results.
• Prepare and provide input into and execute user documentation and training material. Lead system testing, as applicable.

• You have a Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field or equivalent experience
• You have at least four (4) years prior experience in Custody, Trust, or Securities department

Compensation Ranges:

US Employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York:

$62,310 - $90,760

US Employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin:

$56,890 - $83,080

US Employees in all other states not listed above:

$51,480 - $75,410
