
DDS would like to announce the availability of a full-time Institutional Maintenance Foreman position working in the Northeast Region for the Hogan Regional Center in Danvers, MA.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Institutional Maintenance Foreman reports to the Director of Core Services and is responsible for the direct supervision of all maintenance department heads including the Painter, working foreman and Tractor Driver. The IMF is responsible for the supervision of the daily operations of the maintenance department. Meets daily with the Director of Core Services, and departmental supervisors and staff to discuss operational issues and project management oversight. Coordinates with OSS I providing support for Central supply operations as necessary. The IMF orders supplies, and equipment that maintains an appropriate inventory to meet the routine daily demands of the dept. & facility. Performs all duties assigned by the Director of Core Services. Assists the DOCS with Project Management working closely with vendors. The IMF is responsible for monitoring staff ensuring that safety procedures, policies and procedures of the facility are being observed by staff. Promotes an environment of departmental transparency and accountability. Assists the Director of Core Services and Office staff in all life safety administrative oversight and compliance. IMF provides support as directed for Federal, State, and local jurisdictional compliance. The IMF in concert with office staff and departmental supervisors collaborates with unit supervisors with the scheduling of projects.

Minimum Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have at least (A) three years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in building maintenance, repair and/or construction or in a building construction trade, and (B) of which at least one year must have been in a supervisory capacity.
Salary placement is determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate’s years of directly related experience and education, and alignment with our internal compensation structure as set forth by the Human Resources Division’s Hiring Guidelines. For all bargaining unit positions (non-management), compensation is subject to the salary provisions outlined in the applicable collective bargaining agreement and will apply to placement within the appropriate salary range.
