Position Type: Full-TimeCustom Truck Accessories in Reno is hiring a full-time Installer Technician to join our growing team. Our installers are the core of our business, delivering high-quality, professional installations of aftermarket parts and accessories. This role is hands-on in the shop, with a strong focus on precision, safety, and craftsmanship. We’re looking for an experienced technician who takes pride in their work, thrives in a team environment, and contributes to a culture of professionalism and quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Professionally install a wide range of truck and RV aftermarket accessories, including shells, nerf bars, wheels/tires, suspension & lift kits, lighting, racks, bed liners, wiring,  and performance parts
- Follow proper procedures to ensure safe, clean, and consistent installations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges quickly and effectively
- Partner with sales staff to review work orders and ensure accuracy before starting jobs
- Communicate clearly with team members to keep jobs on track and customers updated
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support and uphold a positive shop culture of respect, teamwork, and pride in work
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly

base pay equivalent to $55,000 – $65,000+ annually, depending on experience and performance
- Efficiency bonus opportunities
- Overtime available based on workload
- Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday

Qualifications
- Prior experience as an aftermarket installer or in a related automotive role is required
- Strong technical and mechanical skills with proven attention to detail
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to new products or situations
- Must be reliable, professional, and a strong team player
- Own a core set of automotive tools (company provides specialty tools as needed)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
Physical Demands:
Physical demands include, but are not limited to:
- Able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds (parts, accessories, and equipment)
- Must be able to safely operate and test drive customer vehicles
- Exposure to weather, where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
