🔧 About the Role
Transport Refrigeration, Inc. (TRI), a factory-authorized Thermo King dealer, is looking for a skilled Installer to join our Service team. In this hands-on role, you’ll install and service transport refrigeration systems, APUs, cab air heaters, air conditioning systems, and custom assemblies for a wide range of commercial vehicles.

✅ What You’ll Do
- Install APU units, cab air heaters, coolant heaters, and refrigeration units (new and used)
- Install cab air conditioning systems and custom products for OEMs and customers
- Meet or exceed standard installation times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Operate company/customer vehicles, forklifts, hoists, and tools
- Perform road calls and off-site installs when needed
- Follow safety standards and company policies

Qualifications
- High school diploma or vocational training in a mechanical field preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license required
- Must provide own toolbox and standard/metric hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs multiple times per day
- Willingness to work varied schedules, overtime, and occasional travel for training
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
Preferred Certifications (we’ll help you earn these if you don’t have them yet):
- EPA 609 Certification
- Tri-Pac Installer Certification
- Forklift Certification
