Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking a Cabinet Technician and Installer to join our team and complete kitchen remodeling projects in homes across our community. We are seeking a career-minded remodeler or construction professional who is willing to learn new techniques. This is a hands-on position and the ability to safely operate power tools is essential. Training is provided for the completion of new cabinets, cabinet refacing, flooring, backsplashes, interior painting and any other kitchen remodeling projects. Our normal working hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm. However, these times may vary day to day. You should expect between 35-40 hours per week.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Arrive to jobsite on time in logo’d shirt and appropriate work clothing.
• Follow instructions given by project manager.
• Follow Trustpoints on every job.
• Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily.
• Communicate with project manager daily about progress.
• Work quickly and efficiently (clients do not want us in their home any longer than needed).
• Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level.
• Take personal pride in a job well done the first time.

Qualifications

• Stellar work ethic.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Experience in at least one of the following: construction, refacing, cabinetry, finishing/painting, and/or tile
• Must be able to match colors (cannot be color blind).
• Able to drill for hinges.
• Able to install doors and drawer fronts.
• Able to install roll-out trays in cabinets.
• Ability to safely operate power hand tools including a table saw, miter saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and nail gun.

Additional Skills (preferred but not required)

• Prior experience in cabinet refacing, painting, electrical, plumbing, general construction, or tile.
• Able to install crown molding and other trim.

Compensation: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
