Lumon Canada is looking for reliable and experienced installation members. As a big and important part of our team, you will work alongside 1-2 other install members within the company and generally alone on-site, predominantly residentially but sometimes commercially. Lumon is focused on creating a diverse environment where everyone can grow and learn from one another. You also have the chance to see the happy faces of our customers first-hand, once the installation is complete. Could this be you?

A day in the life of a Lumon Installation Technician looks like this:

• Install Lumon products safely and efficiently in residential and commercial settings
• Engage with customers in a respectful, professional manner
• Exercise problem-solving skills
• Proactively exercise teamwork
• Use necessary software and hand tools
• Comply with applicable safety standards, including fall arrest systems
• Construct additional building structures to support Lumon systems
• Complete and maintain all required written records
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, Genie booms lifts, and company vehicles
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment

With these base qualifications, you’re set to join the journey to build better homes:

• Construction, framing, sunroom or other construction experience a strong asset
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience with hand tools and other light equipment
• Moderate mathematical skills
• Ability to take accurate measurements
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (English)
• Able to lift between 60-120lbs
• On feet during day
• Engineering mindset, an asset
• Journeyman experience

Our story began in a chicken coop in 1978. Our first balcony glazing was installed in 1990, and in fact, is still in use today.
