Could you be the full-time Signalling Installation Supervisor in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your construction and supervision expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dedicated teammates on the exciting Go Expansion Project at Alstom Canada.
You'll play a pivotal role in managing external contractors and ensuring the successful operation of our construction sites while upholding the highest safety standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (project management, EHS, and contractors), oversee compliance with safety and quality policies, and ensure project milestones are met efficiently and effectively.
You’ll specifically take care of monitoring contractor performance and ensuring adherence to approved drawings, but also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure a safe and organized work environment.
We’ll look to you for:
Managing external contractors related to construction activities for the project
Monitoring contractor quality and performance in line with established objectives and goals
Identifying and resolving site issues to ensure seamless project delivery
Contributing technical knowledge and inputs to assist contractors
Leading work area handover/handback, documenting snags, and tracking punch list items
Ensuring compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) policies and standards

Educational background or experience in construction and supervision
5+ years of experience in similar positions
Knowledge of general installations, including Greenfield/Brownfield construction and mechanical equipment
Experience working with external suppliers and contractors in a construction environment
Familiarity with managing field activities on-site
Strong initiative, communication, and customer service skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Positive attitude and an agile mindset
EHS administrative knowledge

Compensation
The expected compensation for this role is $80,000 – $105,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
