The Installation & Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all equipment installations and service activities for MKS MSD devision in Japan. This role involves managing a team of mechanical and elctrical engineers, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of equipment installations and service projects, from planning through execution and post-installation support. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.
Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of installation and service professionals, including engineers, technicians, and supervisors. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure continuous improvement and professional development.
Resource Allocation: Coordinate resources, including personnel and equipment, to ensure optimal deployment for multiple concurrent projects. Identify and address potential bottlenecks or resource shortages to maintain project timelines.
Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all installations and services are completed in accordance with company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Monitor project outcomes and implement corrective measures as needed to maintain high quality and safety standards.
Customer Relations: Act as the main point of contact for customers during installation and service projects. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and providing clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Documentation & Reporting: Oversee the proper documentation of installation and service activities, ensuring accurate records are maintained for future reference and compliance. Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management.
Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to improve installation processes and service efficiency. Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance the department's overall performance.
