Could you be the full-time Installation Senior Engineer in Egypt we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your installation expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and solution-driven teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of installation activities, contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality, and efficient rail systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Engineering, Suppliers, and Subcontractors), coordinate installation documentation, and support testing procedures—and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of preparing and reviewing installation documents such as method statements, plans, and test procedures, but also ensuring that teams have the right tools, materials, and training to perform their tasks effectively.
We’ll look to you for:
Overseeing field installation activities and collaborating with team members
Supporting the preparation and review of installation and testing documents
Ensuring the latest document revisions are used and coordinating with Engineering/Suppliers
Providing installers with the necessary tools, training, and resources
Reporting installation and testing progress to leadership and identifying risks or issues
Creating test reports, KPIs, and tracking NCRs as needed
Ensuring compliance with TRD and recording testing data in designated tools
Maintaining effective working relationships with clients, consultants, and team members
Implementing and enforcing EHS requirements on-site with support from the EHS team
Ensuring team members have the proper credentials, training, and supervision
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
B.Sc. in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
3-5 years of proven working experience in installation within rail projects
Very good knowledge of installation methods and tools
Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on progress
Strong communication and diplomacy skills to guide subcontractors effectively
Good understanding of conflict and crisis management
Willingness to work day and/or night shifts based on site progress and needs
Fluency in Arabic and English
Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:
Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
Work with new security standards for rail signalling
Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
Contribute to innovative projects
Utilise our dynamic and inclusive working environment
Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
Benefit from our investment in your development through award-winning learning
Progress towards leadership or expert roles within the company
