Job Description

What you will do

As an Installation Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the installation team by efficiently planning and tracking installations while optimizing the utilization of available labour resources. You will be responsible for procuring equipment effectively to meet customer requirements and ensuring seamless project execution. The successful candidate will coordinate the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met, and customer expectations are exceeded.

How you will do it

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, installation engineers, and managers through effective communication.

  • Prepare and manage installation schedules and programs.

  • Negotiate with suppliers and coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment.

  • Plan and allocate manpower efficiently for a team of engineers.

  • Provide fast and accurate updates to engineers and customers.

  • Monitor installation progress to ensure schedules are met and downtime is minimized.

  • Maintain up-to-date and complete installation documentation.

  • Assist in scheduling subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

What we look for

Required

  • Customer service experience

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other PC applications

Preferred

  • Experience in scheduling and coordinating field-based engineers or a similar role

  • Knowledge of the security systems industry or construction/facilities industries
