About the Role

As a Network Installation Engineer at RN Projects, you will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of network installation projects. You’ll work on reviewing technical briefs, installing leading hardware brands (Aruba, Ruckus, Meraki, Juniper), configuring and testing equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and generating detailed documentation. You’ll play a vital role in delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Review project briefs, technical drawings, and site specifications prior to site visits.

- Assess site conditions and adapt plans as needed to ensure compliance with client and RN Projects standards.

- Install and configure networking hardware (Aruba, Ruckus, Meraki, and Juniper).

- Perform device configuration, firmware/software updates, and initial testing to validate network operation.

- Troubleshoot on-site issues and escalate complex problems where necessary.

- Adhere strictly to workplace and site-specific safety protocols.

- Maintain thorough documentation of installation activities and generate detailed reports.

- Work collaboratively with internal teams and communicate professionally with clients.

About You

We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate:

- A degree or equivalent experience in Telecommunications, Networking, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Proven experience in network installation or a similar technical role.

- Practical knowledge of networking protocols, hardware installation, and industry best practices.

- Experience with Aruba, Ruckus, Meraki, and Juniper Firewalls (desirable).

- Current industry certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ (highly regarded).

- Excellent communication skills for working with colleagues and clients.

- A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a commitment to workplace safety.

- Flexibility to support the broader team during peak workload times.
