We are seeking an experienced Snowflake & dbtIICSDeveloperwith 5–8 years of experience in designing and developing scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate must have strong proficiency in Python and SQL, along with hands-on experience in Snowflake, dbt (Data Build Tool), IICS or any leading ETL tools, and a good understanding of Data Lakeand Data Warehousearchitectures.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain data transformation pipelines using dbtIICSon Snowflake
Write optimized SQLand Pythonscripts for complex data modeling and processing tasks.
Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business teams to implement scalable ELTworkflows.
Create and manage data models, schemas, and documentationin dbt
Optimize Snowflakeperformance using best practices (clustering, caching, virtual warehouses).
Manage dataintegrationfrom data lakes, external systems, and cloud sources.
Ensure data quality, lineage, version control, and compliance across all environments.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities using CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills:
5–8 years of experience in Data Engineeringor Data Platform Development
Hands-on experience with Snowflake– data warehousing, architecture, and performance tuning.
Proficient in dbt (Data Build Tool)– model creation, Jinja templates, macros, testing, and documentation.
Hands-on experience in creating mapping and workflows in IICSand have extensive experience in performance tuning and troubleshootingactivities
Strong Pythonscripting for data transformation and automation.
Advanced skills in SQL– writing, debugging, and tuning queries.
Experience with Data Lakeand Data Warehouseconcepts and implementations.
Familiarity with Git-based workflows and version control in dbt projects.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
Experience with Airflow, Dagster, or other orchestration tools.
Knowledge of cloud platformslike AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Exposure to BI toolslike Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
UnderstandingData Governance, Security, and Compliance
Experience in leading a development tea
Mandatory skill sets:
NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and object-oriented programming principles.
