Perform advanced inspection processes at Columbus Engine Center. Mastering the use of a variety of tooling and measurement equipment toaccomplishinspection processes will berequired In addition, the incumbent willbe requiredto interpret technical data in various forms,in order tovalidateengine configuration. Excellent interpersonal,planningand organizational skills are needed for a team-oriented environment.
This is a 1st Shift position:Monday – Thursday, 6am – 4:30pm (Flexible)
What You Will Do
Read and interpret enginemanuals,customer work scopes, and tolerances to inspect engine parts and modules tovalidateproper configuration
Provide complete andaccuratedocumentation to support engine build.
Complete and reviewtechnical documentation including Fits and ClearancesandEngine Inspection Reports(EIR)
Complete and review engine package documentation
Inspect engine parts and modules tovalidateproper configuration.
Meet production/inspection goals andobjectivesfor the facility
Qualifications You Must Have:
HS Diploma or GEDequivalent
1+ years’ experiencein aviation inspection role
QualificationsWe Value:
Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License, Powerplant (P) License or 2+ years’ relevant experience.
Turbine engine overhaul, inspection and repair experience, precision measuring tool usage, preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly.
Ability toidentifyand resolve configuration and compatibility issues.
ProficiencyinMicrosoft Office and SAP
